Non-CDL driver, you must: Be at least 21 years old Possess a proper and valid driver's license Have a driving record that meets the criteria for being an Authorized Driver in accordance with Company policy. Be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical examination before beginning work and again at least every two years while employed and performing this job function. Our ideal candidate will also: Know the laws, rules and regulations governing driving motor vehicles in general, and commercial motor vehicles subject to Department of Transportation regulations in particular. Know of, be able to apply, and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment. Be able to build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors and co-workers. Be able to remain calm and function effectively in stressful, unexpected, and/or emergency situations. Be able to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment.
