CustomerOps Associate

LongPath is experiencing significant growth in our target markets and is seeking a CustomerOps Associate to support this expansion. Reporting directly to the SVP of Growth Strategy, you will manage the implementation of LongPath's technology within client organizations, ensuring smooth integration and ongoing customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the Deployment and Analytics teams, as well as customers, to schedule installations, provide support, and maintain successful relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports BD Effort with product presentation & Scoping
  • Act as technical support through sales process for customer
  • Ensures set up for piloting and commercial rollout
  • Work with BD counterpart and client to establish goals and success case criteria
  • Act as an internal Ops liaison
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding implementation, training, and support of LongPath installations
  • Meet regularly with customers, including field teams, to review emissions data, ensuring their full understanding of the system
  • Collaborate with the deployment team to schedule new customer installations and maintenance activities
  • Coordinate with the Operations and Analytics teams to ensure all customer needs are met during pre-deployment and post-deployment stages
  • Track customer status using CRM software and provide progress updates to the management team

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry with an operator, service company, or technology provider, with a preference for experience in upstream, midstream, or downstream operations.
  • Proven ability to work effectively across multiple teams and departments, ensuring clear, deliberate communication and smooth coordination between stakeholders.
  • Exceptionally organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in the oilfield services sector (5+ years) selling to Operators with sustainability and production experience a plus.
  • Must understand building relationships at different levels of an organization, from the field level to leadership.
  • Understand professional selling acumen.
  • Support your place in a sales process (support discovery, enhance value proposition, support kick off and pilot management)
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to effectively navigate regulatory environment connecting value to risk mitigation and return.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and values rooted in follow through.

Expected to attend networking engagements, client meetings, and field training with travel up to 50%. Looking for candidates in all major Energy Hubs (Houston, Oklahoma City, Midland etc.)
