The Position

We are seeking a Junior Software Developer who can quickly get up to speed with some training. Responsibilities include handling I/F log tickets, fixing bugs, and adding features to existing applications.

Create tests for existing applications to minimize unintended bugs when implementing new features and assist in creating and expanding IT documentation to ensure that knowledge is documented for others to benefit.

We seek an eager learner to advance with us. Our large, complex codebase requires maintenance and improvement. Assigning a dedicated individual will ensure the necessary support and assistance to prevent any delays.

  • Work on existing code base helping maintaining and adding new features along with other developers.
  • Help writing and maintaining test code base and working with QA to ensure software is tested accurately and timely.
  • Reading and reviewing legacy code to build new features and solutions for existing applications.
  • Work on issue tickets and permanent solutions for some of our more recurring bugs.
  • 1-2 years experience with an OOP programming languages including C# or JavaScript.
  • Writing Unit and Integration tests with automation software.
  • Good troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, databases and software applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
  • Great communication skills.
  • End user-oriented.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Aptitude for learning new technology.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business processes.
  • Strong writing skills to create technical documentation and work alongside business team to create user guides.
