SUMMARY:
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst responsible for managing Employee Engagement Platforms for our corporate employees. Must have an understanding of business processes, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and translating approved solutions into technical specifications and/or procedural modifications that can be implemented against the various applications that support those business processes.
- They are the liaison between Corporate, business unit and IT development and support functions.
- They proactively communicate and collaborate with their customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
- They also collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
- They have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
DUTIES:
- Detailed functional knowledge of JD Edwards business process model.
- Ability to derive requirements for process change/addition to applications using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, and task and workflow analysis.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish nice to have from the underlying true needs.
- Participate in development and maintenance of thorough, current functional and systems documentation, business process flow diagrams, and end user training materials.
- Participate in the development and execution of well-designed test plans, testing activities, and test data.
- Participate in data conversion and merger/acquisition activities.
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8-10+ years IT BA experience.
- 5+ Years working within an Employee Engagement Platform, flexible on specific platform or ERP system.
- Experience working with 3rd party applications for reporting (Hubble, etc.)
- Experience implementing/rolling out software to a new operating unit
- Experience as a team leader with direct responsibility for managing employees
- Experience in preparing testing scripts and training documents
- Experience in preparing process flows
- Participated in data mapping / data conversion activities during implementation / rollout
- Participated in Conference Room Pilots / User Acceptance Testing
- Delivered super user and/or end user Training
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business, MIS, or equivalent field. Additional years' experience can be used to substitute for a degree.
