Position Profile

Weaver's internal Finance department is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our growing team! The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for the preparation, analysis and distribution of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role involves collaborating with various departments to gather financial data, prepare reports, and provide insights to support business decision-making. Our Finance team is friendly, fun and innovative!

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related role
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and financial reporting software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • A professional accounting or finance designation such as CPA or MBA
  • Experience with SEC reporting and filings
  • Familiarity with financial reporting software and ERP systems
  • Prior experience in a public accounting firm or corporate finance environment
