TGC is looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Senior Accountant to join our growing dynamic team.

Position Description:

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for utilizing their strong accounting knowledge and thinking outside the box when it comes to performing their duties and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate accounting, financial management, and regulatory reporting. They will be tasked with managing multiple priorities including ensuring the financial data is processed timely, accurately, and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day finance operations including functional responsibility over accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Assist with month end closing process by evaluating account balances and preparing any necessary journal entries.
• Continually improve and optimize systems and procedures. Initiate corrective action plan or update SOPs as needed.
• Develop team members by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training and feedback, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to present to senior leaders and owners of the Company.
• Maintain professional and timely communication with vendors, customers, and internal team members.
• Collaborate and build effective relationships with other departments.
• Perform other responsibilities and projects as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Masters' degree or CPA a plus.
• 7+ years of experience as an accountant or in an accounting related function required.
• 2-3 years of experience leading or managing a team required.
• Experience with cloud-based accounting software, NetSuite highly preferred.
• Desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel required.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
