About the job
We are partnering with a large, well-established, and profitable company in their search for a Division Accounting Manager.
The Division Accounting Manager will have oversight for general accounting and for mentoring a small team of professionals. This is a fun atmosphere with a great team and a wide variety of responsibilities. The Division Accounting Manager role enjoys reasonable working hours and a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the general ledger and monthly/quarterly/annual close process
- Preparation of the financial statements
- Monthly management reporting
- Regulatory reporting
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals
- Work with other areas throughout the organization such as corporate finance, operations, tax, and audit
- Coordinate the annual audit and tax filings with external CPA firm
- Other responsibilities and special projects as they arise
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; advanced degree is desirable but not required
- CPA required
- 4-30+ years of professional experience with strong career progression; public accounting experience is highly desirable
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience with a large ERP platform such as Oracle or SAP
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI / Tableau / Crystal reports highly desirable; expert Excel required
- Full cycle accounting experience with strong tenure and supervisory experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good tenure and career progression
