Position Summary:
This position is vital for the successful completion of LivaNova's SEC financial reporting and IFRS Annual Report requirements. The work product from this position is relied upon by senior management as well as external investors and analysts in evaluating company performance. Patients who benefit from our products rely on this position's timely and accurate work product to help the Company innovate and succeed in a competitive industry environment.
General Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for the following essential job functions:
- Assist in the preparation of LivaNova's 10-Q's and 10-K's utilizing the Wdesk platform
- Assist in the preparation of LivaNova's IFRS Annual Report
- Review and perform a tie out of the quarterly earnings release and associated externally published documents
- Prepare the monthly/quarterly accounting entries and reconciliations associated with share-based compensation
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations
- Prepare accounting memos covering certain US GAAP and SEC reporting topics
- Prepare supporting schedules and communicate with LivaNova's external auditors to ensure successful audit completion
Skills and Experience:
Certain skills, abilities and licenses preferred for the successful performance of this position include:
- Active CPA license
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience with Workiva required
- Experience managing companies stock compensation accounting
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Skilled in preparing clear and concise work papers with appropriate supporting documentation
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proven abilities in demonstrating good judgment
- Proficient in building effective working relationships
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Minimum of 9-15 years working for either a company or an accounting firm. If for a company, previous SEC financial reporting experience is requested.
Compensation & Benefits:
- A reasonable estimate of the salary for this position is $130-170k/yr. + discretionary annual bonus. Pay ranges may vary by location.
